In April, we had six candidates who were ordained in to the priestly ministry. After the World Youth Day at Sop Parish where we had 2500 participants, we are now preparing for the Diocesan Youth Camps, which will be celebrated at the levels of the Deaneries. The diocese has six deaneries. This will take the whole of July and part of August. The Theme for this Year is YOUTH, LIFE AND LOVE. This Theme will run through to 2007 into the next World Youth Day, which will be celebrated in Mfumte where Fr. Eugene is parish priest.
The diocese is still vacant. No bishop yet. We carry on with are activities jolly well. I look forward to having a bishop and not just a bishop, but one who can merge himself fully in what Cornelius started. Join us in this prayer.
